Wow! What a great group of scrappers!

I had the pleasure of teaching and meeting so many neat ladies this past weekend at the Creating Keepsakes show in Portland, OR. I taught a total of 8 classes in two days for Lickety Split Scrapbooks. You can see the projects I taught at http://www.licketysplitscrapbooks.com. Let me just say, we had a very fun group of ladies and everyone seemed to really enjoy the projects we worked on. It's so fun teaching people that truly love what they are doing and are excited to be creating! Looking forward to the next CK show in Orlando, FL!

While I was gone, my mom was having fun over on the message boards for me. She picked a ton of winners from those that posted and played during our Leap Year Sale. I'm working on getting all those orders out today and tomorrow. Don't worry if you missed out, they are still playing so be sure to jump over on the message boards at http://www.kisscropnshop.com.

WOW!!!! You all are amazing!!

I was in Phoenix over the weekend teaching at Creating Keepsakes so wasn't able to check my emails until late Saturday evening. Imagine my surprise when I got on at 1:00am our time and over 1/2 of the crop seats had already sold and many of the classes were selling quickly as well. (I told you that the classes were awesome!!!) I can't wait till this years event, it's going to be so much fun!!

To answer a few questions I've gotten about registration:

1. Registration will remain open until October 15th, 2007 or until all tickets are sold.
2. Remaining class tickets will be sold at the door unless the teacher request they not be.
3. Remaining crop tickets will be sold at the door however no welcome gift will be given at that time.

Reminder:

1. When registering please only hit the submit button once. You will receive an email confirmation. If you receive two, please let me know.
2. Please list the names of the people you are registering if you are purchasing multiple tickets.
3. Be sure to list names of people you would like to sit with as well.
4. Don't forget about the community service project! You will not only make a family very happy but you will also get a sense of satisfaction as well from helping and a chance to win some awesome prizes!!!

Be watching the website for classes to start popping up and of course registration for Lights, Camera, Scrapbook! will open Saturday, September 15th!! **Seating is given in the order of registration and of course if you pre-register prior to October 15th you will get a wonderful surprise at your table when you arrive!!

Creating Keepsakes Show - Kansas City

Bus Trip Pictures!

Here are a few of the pictures taken on the bus trip to Creating Keepsakes, Tulsa. We had such a great time that I'm already looking at what trip we will go on next!! Would love to hear suggestions from you and if you haven't gone on a trip with us, well you really should!! They are a blast!!!

We had several new friends join us this trip and it was so much fun getting to know them!! They joined right in on the shopping!

We're back from Tulsa!!!

We had a blast!! Thanks to all that joined me on the K.I.S.S. Bus trip to the Creating Keepsakes show!! Special thanks to the many vendors that treated our riders to some awesome deals and to CK for being so gracious to us. I've got lots of pictures to share with you, I'll post them later today. Hope all you riders got some sleep and are now enjoying all the goodies you bought at the show. I'm thinking I may need to see about renting a pull behind trailer next time for all your goodies!! LOL!!!

As always, you ladies are a blast and I thank you from the very bottom of my heart for the many friendships and the laughs. You all ROCK!!!

I made it...

I'm in Valley Forge, PA at the Creating Keepsakes show!! The flights were uneventful, long but uneventful. I did get some reading done. Flying gives me the only opportunity I have to read. I told someone I feel like an adult again, I actually read a book for the first time early this summer on a flight. Hadn't read a book in over 5 years, since Emma was born. I LOVE Mary Higgins Clark books and usually read one on the flight out and one on the return flight. Gotta love feeling like an adult!!

Can't wait to get back home Sunday, I've got some upcomming class projects I want to share with you.

K.I.S.S. Bus Trip to Creating Keepsakes

Time is nearing for the 2nd annual K.I.S.S. Crop-n-Shop Bus trip to the Creating Keepsakes Show!! This time we will be attending the Tulsa, Oklahoma show on August 25th. We will leave Joplin, MO at 7:00am from the Crossroads Travel Center stopping for breakfast along the way. We will enjoy a full day of shopping at the Creating Keepsakes show, no need to rush through the show. You'll even have plenty of time to take classes if you chose to. You may have lunch from the concession area of the show or you are welcome to bring along a sack lunch. We will leave the show at 5:30 and stop for dinner traveling to Simply Scrapbooks in Claremore for even more shopping!! We will return to the Joplin area around 11:00pm.
